Ch. Gloris Pentagon, with only 19 months old has completed the Portugal Championship, winning the point earned at the International Exposition held in Vila Franca de Xira on the 7 st March 2010. In this exhibition was also proclaimed Best of Breed, Best of Group II and 3º Best In Show.

Last weekend was of great importance for Pomerland Kennels. Warner I de Pomerland, daughter of Ch. Puskin de Pomerland and Ch. Dakota de Pomerland , won the CAC required to participate in the Spanish Beauty Championship at the International Dog Show to be held in Granada. Meanwhile, at the Ischadia Sports Center in Madrid our dogs made history in the work catagory in Spain. (See the report under Work Category ).

Gloris Pentagon has won his first title: Porto Winner 2010 with only 16 months old.

At the beginning of the new year, it is time to take stock of the year just finished.
In 2009 our dogs were shown in 25 National and International Dog Shows, in three different countries (Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar), obtaining, always from different judges, the following results:

Ch. Yesterday de Pomerland became Champion of Gibraltar when he was proclaimed best of breed at the International Dog Show held there on September 19 and 20.

With the point count obtained on August 22, 2009, at the Estoril Nacional Dog Show, Just a Little Bit of Peace de Pomerland completed the Championship of Portugal.

The Pomerland Kennel is pleased to say that our dogs have been chosen for the cover of the August 2009 issues of two of the most important dog magazines in Spain (El Mundo del Perro and Todo Perros).
We are also mentioned in their articles that include pictures of our magnificent dogs.

Ch. Merlín de Pomerland has completed his Championship of Portugal with the CAC-QC obtained in the International Dog Show held in Lisbon on July 12, 2009. On July 11, Merlín was proclaimed Winner Lisbon 2009.

Ch. Dakota de Pomerland became the first Giant Schnauzer bitch in the Spanish dog show history to be named Beauty International Champion after obtaining the RCI Class II Working Category.

Now that starts a new year is time to take stock of the year just ended. During the year 2008 our dogs have been shown in 23 Exhibitions Canine National and International in a total of five countries (Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Luxembourg and Gibraltar), getting, in most cases with different judges, the following results

Good weekend for international Pomerland. In the National Show of Alto Alentejo, Portugal, Ch. Africa of Pomerland became Second place of the Group II. The following day Ch. Merlin of Pomerland, was the Best of Group II in the National Show of Azuaga, Badajoz.

International Shows of Gibraltar, 20th and 21th September 2008.
Keeping to his winning qualities, Ch. Merlín de Pomerland and Ch. África de Pomerland, were proclaimed the Champions of Gibraltar at the International Show of Gibraltar 2008. In the same breath we also had another winner in the form of Lovely Chelsea de Pomerland that was crowned the winner of the Gibraltar Junior Champion.
This is just three more championship wins to add to our already growing list.

The past weekend we found ourselves in Lisbon, Portugal, where we obtained the following titles for our dogs.
· Ch. Callaghan de Pomerland was proclaimed Lisbon Junior Winner 2008 and Mediterranean Junior Winner 2008.
· Ch.Africa de Pomerland obtained the title Winner Lisbon 2008.
· Ch. Sila de Pichera obtained her Portuguese Championship and Mediterranean Winner 2008 status presented in an spectacular form by Alberto Rubio.

In the Giant Schnauzer Show 2008, monographic exposition in which participated an incredible 64 females dogs, Ch Indiana de Pomerland obtained the 1st place in female champions class to finally finish with RCAC, and was only outmatched by an excellent female with spectacular movement that came from Russia. The name is: Gloris Rumba.
In the World Dog Show, competing with 26 females in the open class, Ch. Indiana de Pomerland obtained again the prize of being the first classified Spanish entrant in her class, putting herself in 3rd place overall.
We would like to thank the magnificent work done by Marta and Tiago with Indiana in their exquisite handling of our dogs and relationship with us.

Merlin de Pomerland, with only 20 months old has completed the Spanish Championship, winning the point earned at the National Exposition held in Seville on the 1st March 2008. In this exhibition was also proclaimed Best of Breed and Best of Group II.
On Sunday, at the International Exposition in Seville, managed to be Best of Breed, Best of Group II and Reserve in Best In Show.

Last weekend we attended the International Exposition in Zaragoza, the mandatory point for the Spanish Championship. Our Schnauzers achieved some spectacular results.
· Ch. Puskin de Pomerland was 1st in Champions Class.
· Ch. Indiana de Pomerland was 1st in Open Class, CAC (with 12 females fighting for CAC), CACIB and Best Female.
· Ch. Merlin de Pomerland was 1st in Open Class, CAC (10 males fighting for CAC), CACIB and Best of Breed.

Dakota de Pomerland has achieved the status of Portuguese Champion in th show hosted the past weekend in Porto, Portugal. Furthermore Ch. Indiana de Pomerland won the price Winner Porto 2008, after achieving the top price in the breed on the Exponor, at 19th of January.
